Black Sheep
These spicy scented vanilla anise sheep might have been witness to many a great love story, roaming about on Mr. Knightley’s estate. Indeed, these black sheep might just be up to no good, rambling about in secret! A few are hoping to spook a few shepherds too as Halloween approaches:)
Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged
The Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged contains scraps of all our other Jane Austen soaps made throughout the past year! We make a new batch of soap as a binder and stir the scraps into it, along with extra fragrance.
Her Heart Leaped
On Catherine Morland’s first evening at Northanger Abbey, she is drawn to a mysterious cabinet in her bedchamber. Her heart leaps with delight as she opens it and searches for the secrets within. This rosewood and musk scented soap bar is inspired by the rich wood scent that she might have smelled.
Henry Tilney
In contrast to the tortured heroes of other Gothic novels stands Henry Tilney: a witty and thoughtful man who dances often, laughs more, and is captivated by your conversation. This inspired bar smells of bay leaf, fir needle, and cedarwood.
Haunted Abbey
There is nothing spookier in Jane Austen than Catherine’s first night at Northanger Abbey. Our Haunted Abbey bar soap celebrates the horror of that night and the wild tales spinning through Catherine’s head. For, as Mr. Tilney himself said, “the part of the abbey you inhabit is undoubtedly haunted.”
Half Agony Half Hope
In Captain Wentworth’s love letter to Anne, he wrote that he felt “half agony, half hope.” Those stirring words inspired this half black, half white bar soap. Scented with sandalwood and lemongrass, you’ll love this elegant bar.
Gunters Sweet Lemon Ice
SWEET LEMON ICE soap smells like fresh sweet lemons. It is inspired by references to Gunter’s Tea Shop in Georgette Heyer’s novels, which take place in Regency London in Jane Austen’s world. When I ran out of Jane Austen books to read, I read Georgette Heyer next!
Gracechurch Street
GRACECHURCH STREET has the cheery and uplifting scent of lemongrass and is scented with pure lemongrass essential oil. Jane is sad and missing Mr. Bingley and I wanted to cheer her up! The top is patterned like bricks and the inside was an attempt to make it look like a cobbled street in cross section.
Georgiana Darcy
This lily of the valley scented soap is as delicate and lovely as Georgiana Darcy herself. Topped with dried jasmine flowers.
Though Miss Darcy is a diffident girl, she will bloom when behind the pianoforte or in the company of her beloved brother.
Garden of England
Mrs. Elton would like to tell you about Garden of England bar soap, as her friends tell her she is excellent at introductions!
Full of several seed types of unparalleled quality, you will adore the exfoliation of this bar soap. With one breath you are transported to a spring garden with earthy notes of fresh soil, flower buds, herbs, woods, amber, and marigolds. In other words, says Mrs. Elton, it smells exactly like Surry, as she insists it is the only county ever called the garden of England.
Franks Christmas Letter
A Jane Austen take on gold, frankincense, and myrrh, this festive soap is inspired by a particularly tantalizing letter Frank Churchill writes to his father in Emma. Mr. Weston shares it at the Christmas party but Emma cannot get rid of Mr. Elton long enough to hear it.
Flirt My Last
Flirt My Last bar soap is scented with orange and caramel and is the favorite of the Northanger Soapmaker. It is so divinely delicious, there’s nothing like a good orange at any time of year.
Featherington Sisters
This soap trio is inspired by the bright fashions of the Featherington sisters in Bridgerton! Though the ladies may not delight in their dress colors (selected by Mrs. Featherington, of course), they make a smashing trio that I quite adore. Especially as to their resemblance to one of my favorite scent families–citrus. The Featherington Sisters soap trio comes with three full sized soap bars: Penelope, Philipa, and Prudence.
Fancy or Feeling
This romantic soap bar has varying shades of light pink and topped with blackberry seeds, with scent notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and amber.
Face in the Fire
A lavender and tea tree facial bar, Face in the Fire is inspired by Austenland!
“Why Miss Charming, what beauteous skin you possess.” “Oh really? That’s because late at night when I’m all alone, I put my face in the fire." ~Austenland (2013)
Excessively Diverted
The scents of Autumn abound in this delicious smelling soap. The tempting blend of vanilla, pumpkin, and a touch of cranberry will get you in the festive mood!
“But, Lizzy, you look as if you did not enjoy it. You are not going to be missish, I hope, and pretend to be affronted at an idle report. For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbours, and laugh at them in our turn?”
Emma Woodhouse
Spend the morning with clever Emma Woodhouse and this inspired artisan soap bar. With regal two-toned purple shades and blue and gold accents, you’ll soon find this violet, strawberry, and jasmine soap essential to your beauty regimen.
Emma Coffeehouse
“I always deserve the best [coffee], because I never put up with any other.” ~Emma Coffeehouse
Enjoy the frivolity of autumn with this pun on the name of Emma Woodhouse!
Emma
Emma is Jane Austen’s fourth published novel. It was published December 23, 1815. This strawberry scented bar soap is part of our Austen Classics collection.
First line: “Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever, and rich, with a comfortable home and happy disposition, seemed to unite some of the best blessings of existence; and had lived nearly twenty-one years in the world with very little to distress or vex her.”
Elizabeth Bennet
Whether you’re after Elizabeth Bennet’s wit or fine eyes, the sea and moss scent of this soap is a refreshing outdoorsy blend that puts you in mind of a rainy morning walk around Longbourn with Elizabeth at your side.
Elinor Dashwood

Donwell Orchard
Whether apple picking, baking, or eating, there is nothing like a good apple. Enjoy the apple and sage fragrance of a Donwell Abbey apple every day with this inspired artisan soap bar.
Cucumber Sandwich
Lady Bracknell is expecting a cucumber sandwich. Best give her this soap bar in recompense since all the sandwiches were eaten before she arrived for tea.
Scented with cucumber and geranium, this freshly scented soap bar is perfect for summer!
Country Miss
Our unscented bar, Country Miss, is inspired by the wholesome beauty and goodness of the Dashwood sisters. Though glittering diamonds and showy gowns adorn other ladies, their value is nothing to that of the Dashwoods.
Cotillion
COTILLION bar soap is named after the fancy ball in Northanger Abbey. It is scented with rosewood and musk. Mysterious and deep, and feels perfect for an elegant party full of hope and uncertainty–a black tie affair of 200 years past. The black accent is dancing through the white, and if you look at the mirrored effect of two soaps together, it looks like a big twirling skirt! (of course with petticoats underneath, one must take care of ones reputation!)
Cinnamon and Sensibility
“It is not everyone,’ said Elinor, ‘who has your passion for [cinnamon].” ~Cinnamon and Sensibility, by Jane Autumn
Enjoy the frivolity of autumn with this pun on the title of Sense and Sensibility!
Catherine Morland
Miss Morland is one of Austen’s most beloved heroines. She is so eager to love all that surrounds her, it is easy to love her in return. Take a breath of this lovely hyacinth scent and you will learn to love hyacinths just like Catherine!
Caroline Bingleys Hat
CAROLINE BINGLEY’S HAT smells very fresh with notes of bergamot, apricot, and currant. Caroline Bingley is Charles Bingley’s sister in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. She wants Mr. Darcy for herself and is full of spiteful comments about everyone. But she is an elegant woman all the same.
Captain Wentworths Constancy
This sea blue soap bar smells of tobacco and black tea, the perfect scent for a 19th century gentleman and navy captain who has seen much and traveled far. Captain Frederick Wentworth is the hero from Jane Austen’s Persuasion. Though he was apart from his beloved Anne for more than 8 years, his love remained constant.
Brrrsuasion
“You pierce my soul. I am half [frozen], half hope.” ~Brrrsuasion, by Jane Autumn

Bowl of Punch
“And you shall all have a bowl of punch to make merry.” ~Mrs. Bennet.
Cranberry punch for merry-making is the standard at the Bennet household! Enjoy this fruity bar soap for the holidays.
Born to Blush Unseen
Topped with dried hibiscus petals, colored with cream and light berry shades, with scent notes of jasmine, tonka, and lime.
Inspired the lines by Thomas Gray that Catherine Morland studied to become a heroine in Chapter 1 of Northanger Abbey:
Blueberry Tart
Filled with the finest fruit, blueberry tarts are especially wholesome and recommended by Mr. Woodhouse himself. Scented with the sweet smell of fresh blueberries, it is the perfect finish to tea time.
Biscuits and Honey
At tea time, biscuits are a welcome addition–especially when Miss Bates is dominating the conversation! This soap bar is scented with biscuits and honey, delicious with a spot of tea.
A Turn About the Room
This peppermint and petitgrain scented bar is every bit as invigorating as a turn about the room. Scented with pure essential oils.
“Miss Eliza Bennet, let me persuade you to follow my example, and take a turn about the room. I assure you it is very refreshing after sitting so long in one attitude.” ~Miss Bingley of Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen.
A Proper Wedding
This champagne scented soap is perfect for a celebration. A proper Austen wedding indeed! An invitation to such an event is to be guarded with one’s life. Jane Austen’s witty prose never disappoints!
Anne Elliot
Inspired by Anne Elliot, this bar soap smells of a English Lavender, with rose, gardenia and jasmine. Topped with lavender buds and glitter for her beauty and sea salt for her tears of regret, it is a reflection of Anne herself.
Afternoon Tea
Emma has invited you to tea! There is something so fanciful about afternoon tea, especially when taken with Miss Woodhouse.
This earl grey tea with lemon scented bar soap is so fresh, perfect for a summer’s day.
A Comfortable Winter
A snowy hill, a coppery fire, a spiced drink, and a pumpkin cookie are the wintery comforts this artisan bar depicts. A warm bath is waiting for you. Scented with warming spices and pumpkin.
Ghost of Christmas Present
This festive bar soap celebrates glorious greens, pine needles, winter berries, and crisp air. Inspired by the surroundings and persona of the giant himself.
