Mrs Bennet
Mrs. Bennet, the mother of five daughters in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, is eccentric to be sure. But she cares deeply for her children and fights for them. This soap is bright and bold and smells like a mossy, floral sea breeze. It has notes of bergamot, orchid, jasmine, violet, air, moss and sandalwood.
“The Longbourn party were the last of all the company to depart; and by a maneuver of Mrs. Bennet had to wait for their carriages a quarter of an hour after every body else was gone.” ~Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice, following the ball at Netherfield.
Ah, Mrs. Bennet, always scheming to get your daughters married! We love you. There is nothing you like better than to be the envy of your friends, particularly Lady Lucas. And you are a fierce mama fighting for your daughters, doing your best for them. The glittering gold, pink, and green colors in this soap become you. You are a glittering star on top, but beneath is a country girl standing on a cliff looking out over the sea. Beautiful.
