Moor Park Apricot
This apricot and freesia scented bar is inspired by the Moor Park apricot tree of Mansfield Park. Whether eating them fresh or making a tart or preserve, you might have to fight for your share. Paprika and walnut shell powder give the inner layers their speckled look, plus safflower on top for a bit of dash!
Moor Park apricots are, indeed, the very best tasting variety to be had. As luck would have it, one grows near the Mansfield Park parsonage. Should you prefer another variety of this delicious fruit, dare not say so to Mrs. Norris or your life may be in grave peril!
