Caroline Bingleys Hat

CAROLINE BINGLEY’S HAT smells very fresh with notes of bergamot, apricot, and currant. Caroline Bingley is Charles Bingley’s sister in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. She wants Mr. Darcy for herself and is full of spiteful comments about everyone. But she is an elegant woman all the same.

INSPIRATION for CAROLINE BINGLEY’S HAT soap: If you’ve seen the 1995 film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice you may recall how Caroline Bingley is always dressed in some variant of orange and yellow, and her hats are no exception! I couldn’t help but giggle as I designed this soap. It smells fresh and elegant but looks quite overdressed in orange! Just like Caroline and her hats.
