Rational Creatures bar soap is a fresh and clean scent with notes of bergamot, apricot, and currant. The bar depicts an artistic scene of wild ocean currents, strong and willful. These are not calm waters! Mrs. Croft would be right at home among the waves.

Handmade in small batches with gentle, moisturizing ingredients. It is made from a saponified blend of lard, olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, and castor oil, with fragrance oil, colorant, and rosemary oleoresin. Net weight 4 oz (113 g).

All our soaps are elegantly wrapped in handmade lokta paper and boxed with care in historical Jane Austen style with a stamped wax seal, tissue paper, and muslin. (Learn more here.) They are perfect for gift giving and may also be shipped directly to the recipient with an optional hand-written gift message.     I purchased for gifts and the first thing out of people’s mouths was ‘oh, this smells so good’ and ‘I love the feel of this’.

    So, mission accomplished.

    Item was exactly as described, but in person the color was more vibrant that pictures can show. It was carefully packaged and shipped ‘gift giving perfect’. I tried one of the sample slivers that were included after I got done gardening and it worked great and didn’t leave a residue. Scent was fabulous and my skin felt like it had been moisterized and cleaned all in one.

    Would definitely make future purchases.
