Northanger Abbey

(1 customer review)

An invitation to stay at Northanger Abbey is a dream come true for Catherine Morland, especially in the company of Mr. Tilney! This passionfruit and rose scented soap is part of our Austen Classics collection. It is full of walnut shell powder for gentle exfoliation and rose clay for a luxurious touch.

Northanger Abbey is the first novel Jane Austen wrote, but the last published. It was published alongside Persuasion posthumously on December 20, 1817

First line: “No one who had ever seen Catherine Morland in her infancy would have supposed her born to be an heroine.”

I really like how the passionfruit scent downplays the rose in this bar. I love rose, but it can be a bit overpowering by itself. The exfoliation is a nice addition; although, I think it might be better suited to hand washing if you have sensitive skin. I’ve been using it as a body bar in the shower and it’s a little rough for that.
