Ingredients: Rose hydrosol, water, glycerine, phenoxyethanol (and) caprylyl glycol, orange and geranium essential oil.
This rose scented mist will hydrate and moisturize your skin. Perfect for daily use after your shower, or save it for when those rough patches pop up. It is perfect for dry skin, chapped skin, or for softening rough or cracking callused skin. A non-greasy alternative to lotion, it is something that has been used in the Northanger household since 2014 and we swear by it! It was originally made to soothe the winter woes of the resident Mr. Tilney and has become a staple for the whole family.
You will truly smell of roses after using this, as the first ingredient is rose hydrosol, a floral water. It is named for the roses at Chawton–Jane Austen’s home the last 8 years of her life.
Available in a 4 ounce glass bottle.
Jane Austen lived in a large cottage in Chawton from 1809-1817. Today there are at least five varieties of roses that grow in the cottage garden*. During those years she wrote Mansfield Park, Emma, and Persuasion and revised her earlier three novels.
Please note that your hydrating mist may appear slightly orange in hue to the orange essential oil used.
