Shipping and Returns

Processing Time:

Northanger Soapworks is based in Madison, Wisconsin, USA and all items ship from that location. Please allow 3-7 business days processing time to prepare your order. Exception: This processing time is valid only between releases. If you order within a week of release, processing time is extended to 10-14 business days due to order volume.

All orders are shipped via USPS. We do not offer expedited shipping.

Customs and Import Taxes:

International buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Our prices do not include VAT/GST. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. 

If shipping to the UK, please read these special instructions as we are required to collect VAT due to post-Brexit law.

  1. Place your order per usual on this site. Make sure your email is correct, as we will reach out to you to complete the order.
  2. We will create a custom listing for you on Etsy and provide you with Etsy store credit equal to what you already paid. You can complete your transaction on Etsy for the remaining value and Etsy will remit VAT on our behalf. VAT will tack on 20% to the cost.

2 | Returns

Due to the personal nature of soap, we can only accept returns for items that are defective or damaged. If you believe your product is defective or has been damaged in transit, please send us a picture of the damage within 14 days of delivery and we will refund or replace your order. We are confident in the quality of our products and take the utmost care when packing our shipping boxes, but accidents do happen and please know that we are here to help.
